Excellent--he can't want those kind of dufi working for him.
Update...
he is "sorry and if there is ever anything he can do...." but I did not pick up on much sincerity in his apology
in my assessment... this was business as usual. They had bad reputation 20 years ago... some things never change I guess.

Let’s make them famous for that reputation.

I ended up w 2 hep r one for 2500 over one for 5000 over.
It was Metro Ford in Madison (car is now sold I found out today) that offered me the car at 5k over. I offered $2500 and hoped for the best. Lost out on the car and that's OK. I would have been super pissed down the road if I fell into the "fear of loosing something I do not yet own".....
I can say Gary at Metro Ford was a super nice guy and a pleasure to deal with even though we could not make a deal.

Ceramic won't protect the paint. Thankfully it's a small section of stripes. I'd recommend getting a new stripe, and getting PPF done, at least on the front end!
Exactly. That section of stripes will only set you back $200 or $300. As long as the paint wasnt damaged (yes I know its under the stripe), you got away fairly cheap. A good vinyl shop should only charge about $100 or so to remove and install the new stripe. If you can afford PPF over the entire car, I would recommend it. Its not cheap though, you are looking at between 5-6K

Big day! Starting the long process of taking my ‘65 Fastback and turning it into the OG twin of my ‘20 HEPR!
So much info/mis-info on the internet to make an authentic 1965 GT350R tribute. If anyone knows any good sources, I’m all ears. Thanks!

Thanks @ParkCity06! I've watched pretty much every video they are in. Their 'continuation' GT350R starts at like $250k. I'm not sure they'll take my calls. :cwl:
Don't know why they wouldn't. Car guys like talking cars. You can always reach out to these guys too. http://www.saac.com/index.html

After all these years--can't believe what a cheese website they have. Built on DOS I believe.
