Pretty incredible story and just goes to show you what can happen with these cool cars when no one is around.

How did you know that your car was being delivered that morning as that was pretty good reconnaissance on your part?

I like your color combination with it being Magnetic Metallic along with a Black roof and Black OTT stripes.

The only other 2015 Track Pack cars like yours were chassis # F0034 and F0045!

I am not sure if you recalled this but the 2015 GT350/R's all came with the Shelby GT350 car cover as standard equipment whereas starting in 2016 and on up the car covers were sold as an option and for additional cost for all GT350/R's.

I didn't realize the 15's included the car cover. I have never taken it out of the box. Here is a pic of my Window Sticker. It actually shows the car cover listed under Exterior..

I stalk my cars when I order one I like! Hahaha! Actually, my buddy at the local dealerships family owns the dealership and he’s a real gear head, so he was really excited that they were allocated one and I was able to get it. He and I both stalked everything we could about that car. The week that it hit the rail car, he would call me every day to tell me which rail yard it hit. So when it hit the last yard, it still took a few days to go from there to the dealership so I would stop by every morning after I was done at the gym until it arrived.

I knew there was another one painted like mine, but I didn’t realize there was also an R. Since the first 37 were supposed to be R’s, I presume the lower numbered one was an R.

It’s crazy that you mentioned the cover. I called my buddy and he reminded me that they received my cover with no notification or VIN number or anything on it and he asked if I wanted it so I said yeah. Neither of us read the Window Sticker line by line...

Not sure when your car left the FRAP but mine was loaded up last Thursday and this morning it was in Yard Center, Illinois and on is way to the local Phoenix rail yard some ~1,800 miles away.

Who knows as maybe our two cars as travelling on the same train or even the same rail car?

Congrats and not long now!!!

Dealer sent me this. Looks like it got on the train 1 July which was Wednesday. Guess I should be able to stalk the car now with that rail car #? Be interested to see what chassis number we end up with. I’m expecting something in the LR40s or LR50s range.

If you look at the product information/content overview for all of the 2015 GT350's you will see that under the list of Standard Equipment 1 of the 20 items listed is the car cover.

Aside from ordering either of the 2 Free Standing Packages (Tech or Track) the only Free Standing Options for the 2015 Shelby GT350 was the Painted Black Roof and the OTT Stripes.

That was a typo error on my part therefore apologize for my faux pas as the 2 other Track Pack cars ordered like your car was actually "F0043 and F0045".

Getting old and dyslectic once in a while and reversed the chassis numbers in error.

Having said that there was actually one 2015 R model that was built with Magnetic Metallic paint along with a Black Painted Roof and Black OTT stripes and it was chassis "F0033" and it came with the Electronics Package.

Again my apologies for messing that up and hope that clears things up for you!

YIPE - My VIN can no longer be found in the Ford Tracking system. I emailed Ford Performance and my dealer and both found the same result. It is on Ben's spreadsheet as produced on June 9, 2020, same info I received from Ford Performance and my dealer. Previous tracking report noted July 27, 2020 delivery. Anyone else have this happen?

The close up picture of the wheel certainly doesn't look good to me but once the car is all cleaned up it might be a different story.

Certainly to hard to imagine how an individual/Ford dealership could not even take the time to detail and clean up this car prior to taking any pictures and then listing on eBay let alone asking $105,000 for a used vehicle.

It looks as though this new owner/Ford dealership purchased this car from Long McArthur Ford in Salina, KS. and now trying to make a quick buck on it over in S.D.
