Can you post a link to a professional review comparing times run the same day between the Mach 1 and GT350R? I'm assuming you have that based on your emphatic statement.
He can't because the Mach 1 is slower than GT350R. The Mach 1 lap was after VIR resurface which was the reason why it was faster.

He can't because the Mach 1 is slower than GT350R. The Mach 1 lap was after VIR resurface which was the reason why it was faster.
I have 991 GT3 and a Mach1, i only tracked the Mach1 once, on Portimao Race circuit, but was only around 2" slower than my GT3. The Mach1 have a great performance, only needs more speed, with more power or less weight.

I have 991 GT3 and a Mach1, i only tracked the Mach1 once, on Portimao Race circuit, but was only around 2" slower than my GT3. The Mach1 have a great performance, only needs more speed, with more power or less weight.
My S550 highly modded is 1 second or so slower than a Cayman 718 GTS. On same tires I'm on par with stock M1's lap time wise. This on a 2km track. So the GT3 must be much faster than a Mach 1.

Naaah, I know your times since last Ford fest. You did 13-seconds gap on a stock 10Auto Mach 1 with your manual pre-face lift... So it is not a marginal difference. Your difference with the "stage 1 tuned" mach 1 with 10 auto was 11 seconds. The difference between my time (stock m1 with manual 6) was 16-17 seconds... So it is quite a difference in my opinion in favor of your experience AND modded car.

2km=1 second, 4 km=2 seconds.
if the track have long straights the Mach1 will be slower.

I get Ivan's A10 Mach 1 MP4s tires for a spin and put my 2017 GT on the OEM PZero tires on my car. Both cars were doing 1:10 though I did have 0.3-0.4 sec advantage in my car but that I think is mostly confidence and knowing the car so well. Overall I still consider it a success and a lot more mods to come like Power Pack 3.

That's my point I have a rough idea how fast 991 GT3 and GT3 RS are around my local track and they are a lot faster than a Cayman 718 GTS I think difference is 2 seconds in favour of a GT3 RS. So this make it a 3 secs or so difference to my 2017 Mustang GT which is on 305 tires etc. Stock Mach 1 is another 2-3 seconds slower than that. In other words difference between Stock Mach 1 (1:10 on my local track) and 991 GT3 RS (1:04) is around 6 seconds. However we could argue that the on longer track with more straights etc the Mustang will have some shot of catching up but the GT3 and GT3 RS has advantage almost everywhere they are lighter have more horsepower and they have better suspension and brakes.

A GT3 is clearly faster than Mach1 but I'm talking both cars driven by me, the Mach1 was only 2" slower, these day on the track there was GT3's and RS slower than me and others GT3's , Alpine A-110 and others faster. Were the cars fasters?? Or the driver?

Example: Maybe my driving skills is pass a turn at 100MPH, the Mach1 can pass at 110 and the GT3 can pass at 120............. but my skills or my balls can't pass more fast! :crackup: these is the reason that i said on my hands a Mach1 is only 2" slower.

so what you're saying is you have a REAL Drivers car. Not a marshmell0w-wrapped conveyance designed for stupid people not to take themselves out of the gene pool, even when they deserve to be.

I think i'm a decent driver, but one day on a Porche trackday Romain Dumas ( https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Romain_Dumas ) was my instructor, on Jerez circuit my best lap was 2:00:00 i feel great was a very good time, and I told him to drive one lap, he said me ok!!!! he did it calmly, like smoking a cigar, 1:51:00 was his time. These is the reason that i say the skills level of each driver, a pro driver can go at 100% of the car, we, normal drivers can't do it.

I was at Road Atlanta in September and there was a a single base-auto/non-HP Darkhorse there … but 4 Mach1-HPs including mine, 2 GT350 and 2 GT500 plus a couple GTs and one EB.
Are you telling me that basically a month after production started there was only ONE new rare Mustang at an event, but a bunch of older cars? What can this mean!
