I am going to make something to cover the back seat area. On ebay the Audi wind deflector works for the Mustang but much cheaper

I have the light bar, and am considering the "Love the Drive" wind deflector.
Question: Does it actually, significantly, reduce wind noise? Hearing the audio system at highway speeds? With hearing aides, which introduce lots of wind noise?

Yes, the Audi version is less expensive. It does not fit the light bar panel though.

In my opinion, it reduces the turbulence/noise to an acceptable level. As with most drop tops you need to turn the audio volume up. If you want audiophile level of output, however, don't buy a convertible.

Thanks!
I'm not looking for audiophile quality output - the Roush H-pipe resonator makes good music as it is. I wear hearing aides, and they have bluetooth to pick up sound from the paired phone. I just want to reduce wind noise in the hearing aides, and hear the nav. (I've been driving convertibles for over 60 years.)

I think you would be pleased with the screen. I can’t really enjoy the music as much with the windows down, but with windows up and the screen it’s fairly quiet and calm with the top down at hwy speeds around 70 mph.

Definitely do the lightbar if you have a convertible. I just installed the CDC without the third light. Fit and finish are excellent. Looks like it could have been OEM. Why no third light? First, we already have 3 stop lights and this would have made 4. Superfluous. Second, the install was so easy and simple. I read that the versions with light are way harder to install. Last but not least, the bar frames the most important accessory a Vert owner can buy, the Love the Drive windblocker. They look great together. More importantly, the improvement in comfort and reduced wind noise is amazing.
Looks amazing on your car! Do you have the link to the one you purchased? I'm definitely wanting to add this to my vert but like you I do not want the additional brake light. Just the style bar and wind blocker. I have a 2016 but am guessing the bar you have is not specific to the 2018+ model?

Yes, the CDC bar is advertised as MY 15-21 (probably through '22 now but not sure). I got mine through American Muscle. Good luck!

Quick question… I have a decently robust sound system installed in my convertible and am considering getting a light bar installed, but I’m worried about potential for introducing more rattles in the cabin (especially with the bass turned up a little). Anyone have any problems with in cabin noise like this with their light bars?

Well decided to go a different route instead of the light bar. I love how it turned out.

Which spoiler did you install? I’ve been looking but haven’t had much luck finding one for a convertibl.

Have you looked into BMC Extreme Customs? They have a few spoilers for convertibles including a track pack style that fits.

I went with the CDC Outlaw, and of course got a stubby antenna. Unfortunately Ford forces the Verts to do something with that factory antenna to fit a nice spoiler.

If what I was looking at is true I don't think the roush bar has a brake light its just styling. If you found a light bar from Roush for our model link it please.

For me if both were light bars then if its under $100 or so difference and they both had the brake light then I would keep it Roush. If there was a big difference in price I would go with the CDC as long as it has good ratings which the one's I looked at did (like 4.8 or something)
I'd get a 4 point roll bar... adds structural integrity, and protection for your head.

Thanks... How did you do the install? I had also ordered the CDC Outlaw and it didn't line up with the trunk at all so had to return it.
