That is not Chevrolet it is the individual dealer. How interesting that Chevy is dealing with their C8 in a responsible fashion. Not to say individual dealerships might still pull shenanigans... And for a car that is vastly more "interesting" than a tarted up 'stang.

There have been GT350s available for MSRP in the Midwest since 2017. Some dealers in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area were even selling them for a couple thousand under MSRP this winter. This is going to be the same as the GT350s but worse I remember Rs going for 25k over sticker.
In 2017 I was in Washington DC and went to every single ford dealer within a 150 mile radius and tried to get a base GT350 in any color for MSRP. No one would sell one at sticker. I took pic of the vin on a black one at Koons Ford and monitored it sitting on the lot for over 3 months.
They tried to tell me time and time again they moved so many it was a different black GT350 sitting on the lot. i showed them the pic of the vin and called bullshit Ive been watching this vehicle for over 3 months.
I refuse to pay ADM but the GT500 will be out of my reach anyways. What Im most excited for is to see GT350s come down to low 40ks
Given the plethora of units still sitting brand new on the lots with 55k+ asking I think it'll be another year at least. I guess the carry/floor cost of these is so low they dealership can carry it for 3 years and not bat an eye. I don't see the arrival of the GT500 accelerating that downward price trend. Actually I wouldn't be surprised if the asking jumped up as the hoopla goes into overdrive. What Im most excited for is to see GT350s come down to low 40ks

I don't know how they continue to get ADM's when there are so many available out there??That is not Chevrolet it is the individual dealer.
Ford dealers could do the same thing if they wanted to.
Wrong. I got my 16 GT350 at sticker from a dealer within 150 miles of dc when the 16's first came out.were in 2019 that was not happening in 2017. certianly not within 150 miles of wash dc.
ok, who?Wrong. I got my 16 GT350 at sticker from a dealer within 150 miles of dc when the 16's first came out.
It all depends on the contract that they have with the dealers. From what I've seen the dealers can do whatever they want once they purchase the cars. Free market takes care of the rest.why yes, it is an individual dealership. But dealerships key off of what the mothership encourages or tacitly approves. Was there even a single Ford dealership that did the "right thing" rather than jump on the ADM bandwagon?
Did Ford pull any of their dealership heads in to read them the riot act about making the company look bad? Like it or not consumers associate dealership behavior with the manufacturer despite reams of legalese inuring the parent of legal liability vis-a-vis their badly behaved children.
I would guess that GM sent out a memo instructing their dealers to play nice or get a boot up their ass AKA allocations revoked.
What dealer and where if its Koons in Silver Spring I call BS and want the salesmans number LOL.Wrong. I got my 16 GT350 at sticker from a dealer within 150 miles of dc when the 16's first came out.
