So I recently installed the FRPP on my 19 gt, auto car, 3.55 with drive modes. I’ve been logging my progress with each mod out to the track. Best time so far is an 11.93 @117 on the PS4’s. Well last weekend I went back for street car takeover on a set of 305/45/17 et street r. I was running the 12.0 index so I was concerned about breaking out since it’s been faster on street tires. I never really got a full run as I would lift around 1000’ or when I knew the other car wasn’t coming around me to make sure I didn’t break out. I know I should’ve been launching harder but the car itself felt slower on the bigger tires. That and my mph was way down. Even lifting @ 1100’ I don’t think I would lose 5-7 mph. Am I overthinking this or should I step down to 26” tire and see how it does. Only other mods is a car back, bmr drag springs and lockouts. 26D2CB71-4504-4471-B1F4-B275D5BEE711.png 0EDFABDD-6D03-40BC-9C0F-162E4DB401DC.png BACD08AE-90FD-4160-8F69-F9CFDF18A16C.png 1AA2DF45-90C5-4031-A171-2B1C0C85ED9D.png

you're only trapping 108-111 is that correct? doesn't seem like just the diameter would cause that difference. it's not that tall of a tire and a common size, although i would prefer a 275 on a stock car instead of too much tire. and yes lifting at the 1000' mark can make a big difference. not sure why you are using these runs where you lift to gauge how your car is performing. why you would switch to a drag radial and stick with a 12.0 dial in is beyond me

i switched to a radial to help combat the wheel hop I was getting on the 1-2 shift. Didn’t want to break anything.

I know lifting was obviously changes the times but what I’m more concerned about how all the 1/8 times are almost identical. I thought on a radial I would’ve picked up at least a few tenths on the 660.

Are you leaving on the same rpm? I feel like you need to do some test n tune nights and dial in your leave and tire psi and see the gains
