Part of the bullitt announcement today included the GT350 Intake manifold and ancillaries.

What this means is twofold:

1) a refreshed voodoo with DI/PI is definetely not out of the question.

2) a 5.2 CPC NA version with DI/PI for an upcoming vehicle. The GT500 leak shows a port injected setup only.

Other food for thought: the Boss 302 can’t exist. Ford does not produce anything 302cubic inches anymore.

But .. can a boss model with an NA 5.2 CPC with 550/440 be on the horizon? Call it purely BOSS.

Thoughts? What this also does is opens the door for Ford performance parts to sell the power pack for the new gen three coyote. I can see a 485hp Mustang with factory warranty.

Also with the Mach 1 a potential electric suv, doubtful they’ll release a Mustang based Mach 1.

I like the idea but I question if they would produce it for enough years at this point to make engineering a new configuration for that motor, worthwhile.
