If this motor has the True Voodoo heads, 750hp will be no problem. There were serious doubts there would be room for PDI under a traditional roots type charger. Ford waited for an "upside down" design (which was just announced) because nothing would work...
It STILL didn't work...
Maybe 750hp but I have serious reservations as to IF it can break 700.
It will be announced fairly soon, I’m feelin it.The leaks keep on coming!
I’m expecting more than that. 760+.If this motor has the True Voodoo heads, 750hp will be no problem.
Completely agree. 2.6 on the blower is what I’m hearing.Well with what most certainly is a twin screw (2.3 or larger most likely) strapped to the 5.2 aluminator (which makes 580hp NA) I’m thinking 750-800 will be no issue. I would be surprised if it goes over 800 though. I’m seeing this GT500 as Fords answer to the 707hp hellcat.
Judging by the massive brakes seen in the previous leak I think they are taking the handling seriously as well!Completely agree. 2.6 on the blower is what I’m hearing.
I just hope it’s a well rounded car, much much more well rounded than a hellcat. Unless you just mean power wise.
Everyone wants huge numbers, but I just want a balanced car. Roll racing is fun and all, but...
That’s exactly what that is.
Excuse my brutal attempt of drawing but would those be the casing for the rotors?
Umm...you have 3 Mustangs..two of them blown with very nice kits, and the third being a GT350........think I am going to pass on the whipple deal this year .......there is always next year I guess especially if the GT 500 proves to be out of reach .
That Aluminator can’t physically make that power in a production car.Well with what most certainly is a twin screw (2.3 or larger most likely) strapped to the 5.2 aluminator (which makes 580hp NA) I’m thinking 750-800 will be no issue. I would be surprised if it goes over 800 though. I’m seeing this GT500 as Fords answer to the 707hp hellcat.
I don't see that at all. It would run counter to the essence of the GT350. It is perfect for the GT500 though. All this means is Ford will offer a supercharged option for the GT350. Probably smaller version GT500 SC.
