There were serious doubts there would be room for PDI under a traditional roots type charger. Ford waited for an "upside down" design (which was just announced) because nothing would work...

It STILL didn't work...

Maybe 750hp but I have serious reservations as to IF it can break 700.
If this motor has the True Voodoo heads, 750hp will be no problem.

The leaks keep on coming!
It will be announced fairly soon, I’m feelin it.

I’m expecting more than that. 760+.
DCT is where it’s at. This thing will be bad to the bone with one. Only concern out of everything is weight and cooling.

Well with what most certainly is a twin screw (2.3 or larger most likely) strapped to the 5.2 aluminator (which makes 580hp NA) I’m thinking 750-800 will be no issue. I would be surprised if it goes over 800 though. I’m seeing this GT500 as Fords answer to the 707hp hellcat.

Completely agree. 2.6 on the blower is what I’m hearing.

I just hope it’s a well rounded car, much much more well rounded than a hellcat. Unless you just mean power wise.

Everyone wants huge numbers, but I just want a balanced car. Roll racing is fun and all, but...

Judging by the massive brakes seen in the previous leak I think they are taking the handling seriously as well!

All this means is Ford will offer a supercharged option for the GT350. Probably smaller version GT500 SC.

That would be nice .

I had been set on taking advantage of the 15 % sale and ordering a whipple for my GT 350 but now wavering in light of potential GT 500 reveal .

I already own a couple of GT's with 5.2's/GT 350 heads that are boosted(Hellion TT/3.2 KB) so my head tells me to leave it unmolested ,especially as it has been rock solid reliable compared to the GT 's .

The GT 350 is not daily driven but driven more often than the "race cars" and I have never really felt it needed more power except for the rare occasion I take it to the strip .
Never been on road course in my life and I should probably try and experience that at least once before I make a final decision on the whipple (which may ruin it for that ).

.....think I am going to pass on the whipple deal this year .......there is always next year I guess especially if the GT 500 proves to be out of reach .

Excuse my brutal attempt of drawing but would those be the casing for the rotors?

Umm...you have 3 Mustangs..two of them blown with very nice kits, and the third being a GT350...

Exactly how would a GT500 be out of reach for you ??
Not hating, but bloody hell man. Please explain it to me !

That Aluminator can’t physically make that power in a production car.

As I recall, the dyno plots were run using race gas AND long tube headers. Those could be worth 50hp.

Think e85 and ARH on the voodoo.

I don't see that at all. It would run counter to the essence of the GT350. It is perfect for the GT500 though.

Show me that small pulley. Give it lots of boost, it can handle it ;)
Does the Throttle Body look the same size as the GT350?
