Late to the party, going to do my first track events in the 21 GT500 CFTP this summer, am I missing anything?

Vorshlog C&C plates ordered
Schroth QFP, appropriate rear receivers (hopefully) and a aftermarket rear seat delete so I don't need to cut up the original.

To be ordered:
Oil change kit for before I go, suggestions?
Car has 4000 miles, do I need to change the trans fluid?
Brake fluid, Motul RBF 600?

What else am I missing?

I honestly don't think I'd change anything other than oil and brake fluid like you were already planning. Both of those should have you covered as long as tires are still in good shape

If the oil is old, change it.

Check:
Alignment
Tires
Brake pads
Fluid levels
Paint protection (if you care)
Gas cans and gas
Basic tools
Instruments (pyrometer, IR heat gun)
Fire extinguisher
Paper towels
Windex
chargers for go pros
oil
spare tire/wheel if you are not trailering
helmet
gloves
Driving suit

Water
Chairs
Card table
Liability waivers for rides
I'll edit as I think of more stuff.

It's your first track date. Gatorade, water, a chair, and definitely not an ego.

You won't go fast (relative to experienced people), so go with an open mind, listen to the instructors, listen in to the class, there is a lot to be learned there.

Enjoy it, the 500 is a monster!

oem brake fluid is fine for your first trip. A quick bleed and top off would not hurt. I would change the oil before, 4k is close to the useful service life, especially to run a summer event.

Thanks for all the hints. This is my first time in the 21 CFTP, but I did a bunch if events in my GT350 and before that my 13 then 14 GT500s.

Who has the best deal currently on a GT500 oil change kit?

so... you know the HPDE thing and how it goes but now you have all those Horses and the Carbon fiber. IMHO if you know the routine that's good, doing a new track or new car setup I think seat time is the best mod. fwiw

p.s. forgot to say you have my envy for the GT500 CFTP. ;)

Thanks for all the kind words. I wracked my brain trying to remember what almost derailed track days in the past....

Lug Nuts! Brings to mind two questions, do the CF wheels have special lug nuts?
And how do I keep them from getting all misshapen and reluctant to fit back into the socket?

If I get spares, which are the spares of choice?
