For sale is a set of slightly used Kooks long tube headers and catless x-pipe for a GT350. I purchased these from a mustang6g member with the intentions of doing FBO or a supercharger build but I am now preparing for twin turbos. I never got to install them as I changed my mind too quick lol. When I purchased them I was told they had 200-300 miles on them but they didn’t come with the header bolts so I ordered a new set of header hardware from Kooks (included). I can sell them for $1,300 ($900 less than new). Would prefer to sell local but shipping can be arranged.

I’m not 100% sure as i never got to install the system. My guess is that they’re supposed to connect to the back side of the x-pipe going towards the mufflers.

Do you think you can replace the X pipe section with resonators ?
Either the stock resonators or something Magnaflow resonator tru X.

I am considering it but like the person who may have sold it to you, I think it would be too loud for me without resonators .

I currently have the cat delete with stock resonator and i would not want it any louder .
Not sure if there will be any gains going from cat deletes to a long tubes either .

My exhaust is also already quite raspy and I am afraid of making it more even more ... or “tinny “.

The long tubes will definitely pick up power on the top end (and will require a tune), and I'm sure you could make the stock resonators fit with some simple fabricating. I won’t lie to you and tell you it won’t change the sound though. It will change the tone to a more crisp/supercar kind of sound, which I love but everyone has their own taste. I would reccomend looking it up on youtube to try to find sound clips of similar setups.
