    Hi everyone,
I'm thinking of make some change to my 350.
So I want to change the header and the mid section.
So far I'm thinking Kooks headers and GREEN catted x-pipe. Or ARH long system.
So the Kooks combo is 400 bucks more expensive.
But I really don't know which one is better, which get better gain of performance and better sound.
So guys, help me out here, thanks!!

Do not change the headers. There are massive dampers on the exhaust for a reason (see flat plane crank). Mid pipe and back is fine but, not the headers unless the aftermarket companies are redoing the NVH studies and re-positioning the dampers.

So the Kooks parts are Kooks header and green catted x-pipe. $2800 total.
And the ARH long system is $2383.
ARH is cheaper but I really wanna know which one has more power improvement and which one is more reliable

Both Kooks and ARH they claimed that their headers are special made for the 5.2 Voodoo engine. They said the unique flat plane crank sound will be still there

Can't go wrong with either and one is probably no better than the other so it's just a matter of preference. I'm personally a fan of ARH because used them on my S197 and they were perfect in sound, fit, and quality.

Kooks incorporates the factory dampeners as well as flex sections on their headers/x pipe systems, ARH doesn't. You can get a 5% discount at Lethal for being a member here. Either one will work, I just liked the kooks better for those reasons and also their stepped design.

I'm happy with my ARH long system. Haven't noticed any NVH problems. Only regret is that I went with cats, I'm removing them but maybe that will be too loud so hard to know until I hear the system without them. Honestly think either option you'll be happy with.

How's that long system you got sound? Is this too loud? Any drone or bad smell?
And how's the power gain, did you tune it as well?
