So as a lot of you know I recently took the jump to Kooks LTs (huge thanks to the hookup from Lethal Performance!) and figured while I was there might as well swap to a flex fuel tune. I live near Sacramento, so it's a no brainer to take the car to Shaun at AED here locally.

I was really hoping to see 526 rwhp by the end (thought it would be cool to keep the factory number but then the curve ball "to the wheel"). My 5.0 picked up about 48rwhp from longtubes, cai, tune On 91 so I didn't think I was asking for TOO much.

Let's just start with: the car is LOUD. At wot, almost too much for me. A lot more rasp at this point also so I may look into resonators or another muffler in the future. Right now I'm just happy to have it back. Here's a few pictures and the last one I'm sure everyone is waiting for :D

If anyone can't see the video head over to my Instagram swedensky
Hoping to also get a few GoPro videos today if time allows!

Wow, that's a lot of NA power for what you've done.

That exhaust idle clip sounds fantastic, I can only imagine how insanely loud that must be at WOT. Catless is probably a huge contribution to the sound.

Nice. Thats a tune and the exhaust?

Whats the diameter of the collector?

Made me twinge to see where they chose the lift points to raise the car.

Vids of the exhaust? I still haven't heard one that's been super clear yet with long tubes.
My Instagram has a short clip, other than that just trying to get out today for some clips.

Those gains are huge! Congrats.

Nice figures!!
What does the flex fuel E85 imply?
Ethanol reservoir + lines added to to your car?

I don't like the rear point, as it's not far enough toward the back and could cause instability on the lift. However, the front point is just nearly where I put mine, except I go as far forward on that brace as the arms will reach.

Back to the OP, can you share what the total system cost? I definitely want LT headers at some point in the future, and would really like to run alcohol also. Your gains prove that these are great mods.

E85 Fuel from the gas pump.
Tune is changed to account for the change in fuel.

Did you add a Flex-Fuel sensor that will adjust the tune, or just stick with E85?

Awesome!
Thanks!

Flex Fuel tuning allows me to run standard 91 octane or E85, ethanol fuel from corn. No need to swap between tunes of one fuel or the other, the car will adjust to either one for me.

Others were stating not to lift in either spot front or rear. I'm not savvy enough to know but the car is fine so we all will love =)
The link to the system I bought is just above and all I bought in addition to the exhaust was LU47 injectors. For flex fuel or e85 nothing else was needed!

It's a flex fuel tune that adjusts, only thing I bought were new injectors!

Wow that's incredible power. What is redline now? Looks almost like 8400rpm.

If we can get 40-50whp with a 93 tune that'd be awesome too.

I have 94 locally, it's E10.
