Thanks!

Do factor in that it is a three year color 2018, 19, and 20.

Meaning.....(pardon my naive ness)
Meaning there was Kona Blue for all of those years, so the overall of Kona Blue GT350R number is larger than if it was a one year color. So if you combine all of those years production numbers up you would have a larger combined number (2019 and 2020 numbers have not been released yet).

I really like Kona Blue GT350R's and also liked the 2012 Kona Blue Boss 302 cars as well when they came out back in 2011.

To have 1 of the 2 Base R's in Kona Blue for 2018 before production was discontinued permanently would be pretty cool IMO!

I posted these in the color options but looks like they took it down for whatever reason. Obviously this is nothing official but based on the various production numbers i found online.

Kona Blue on GT 500. Maybe I’m missing it but any numbers on percentage of Kona Blue picked for new GT 500 whether base or CFTP? And if any stats on number of ones with painted stripes or other? Thanks. I have Kona Blue with OTT painted coming my way and I’m thinking it is perhaps “rare.”

I have a 2020 R on order in Kona Blue with no stripes and no options. I had a 2012 Boss 302 in KB and LOVED the color so I knew I had to get another car in KB. It's such a great color.
Just to put the Kona Blue production numbers in perspective there were 559 Kona Blue 2012 Boss 302 cars built for just 1 MY and represented 17% for all 2012 regular production Boss 302's that year.

If we take a look at the first 4 years of production for the GT350R's namely 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 there were a total of just 44 R models assembled in Kona Blue over that time period which represents just 2% for all R model production during that 4 year run.

Having said that we do not have access to the 2019 R model production numbers quite yet therefore it will be interesting to see how many Kona Blue R's were produced of the ~800 R's built for the 2019 MY with Lightning Blue and Kona Blue available for last year?

Of course the 2020 MY is still ongoing therefore it will be quite some time before we will know how many Kona Blue R's will be built for this year.

Keep in mind that for the 2020 MY there are 12 exterior colors to choose from (a far cry from the 7 colors for 2015/2016 MY's) including 3 Blues coming in Velocity Blue, Ford Performance Blue and Kona Blue.

Assuming that the 2020 MY will be the last year for R model production I would suggest that the total number and the overall percentage of Kona Blue R's produced over the last 6 years will be quite small when it comes to the grand scheme of things.

PP0001 - yes the rarity of the color with no stripes is definitely a plus for me. Also, I love dark blue cars and KB has such a great 'pop' in daylight that really sets it apart from other dark blues.

Got a build date of March 19th today so that is really exciting! It will look great next to my black 2013 Boss 302 Laguna.
