I just installed my Gen 3 Stage 2 kit last week. Here are some of my thoughts..

Ive done limited driving. Just logging and a couple spirited sprints down the block. The install was long but easy. Directions were good. Everything is labeled. I was shipped some wrong hardware with my kit. Replacements showed up the next day via overnight shipping. I spoke with customer service when assembling my air box because I was too stupid to follow directions properly. They were super nice and helpful.

Car runs AMAZING .. better then stock. I have zero traction 1st -3rd gear. Im on 345 mpss on a 11.5 rim. Car seems to make gobs of power and hopefully it will be more usable when I get the tremec installed.

Drives stock unless I give it alot of throttle. The power response is INSTANT. You hit it the car just gets up and goes. Kit looks amazing!

I chose whipple after a ton of research and really feel I made the right choice. It fits my driving style and it is my street car. I love the instant power.

I will be dynoing car this weekend. I am on the stock 3.75 pulley. My car does have longtubes catless. I will try to get back on here and show you the results. Good luck with your decision.

I think if budget is healthy I would go whipple. The price of the paxton kits is pretty hard to beat. But Ive been in both cars and day to day driving the whipple car is just so much more fun personally.

LOL! Thanks guys. I was kinda in a hurry when I initially made this thread. Added a few revisions. BTW, I have a thick skin, but I'm really looking for input and real world experience, not smart-ass remarks. I appreciate your time and effort to answer if you know or if any of the aforementioned applies to you. Thanks.

Because I'm new here and missed many of your post, I don't see very many ET/MPH track times in member signatures. I assume the majority of cars here are not "drag specific" cars due to the pics I have seen. However, some of the ET/MPH numbers I've seen here are damn respectable for dedicated street cars.
I didn't think cussing was allowed in heaven??? :amen:

Just messing with you...I'm going with Paxton. But I don't care about any of the concerns you have. I've already crossed those bridges with what I have now. My opinion is if you want power forget about mpg and all that other shit and go for it YOLO :D

what power levels are the various kits showing if you retain the stock exhaust system(front to back) I assume the 2018 exhaust system flows the same as earlier cars

any power adder will be fun on a coyote.

bascially everyone with a whipple will say whipple, everyone with a paxton will say paxton, and down the line

give us a ring and we can discuss your build, goals, and driving styles, and we can get this sorted out for you

Beef, replied to your PM. Thanks.

Thanks guys, appreciate the info. Keep it coming. In the meantime I'll be doing a lot of research, and asking questions as I single it down to which blower I choose to roll with. Again, much thanks.

Thanks, I had that in the thread initially, but I deleted it somehow by accident. Yes, whatever S/C i use has to be 50-state legal.
Which supercharger company offers a 50-state legal tune?

I think most of the heavy hitters are 50 state smog legal with their supplied canned tune

Paxton is your most budget friendly kit available and makes good power, but i don’t think it’s 50 state legal. Air/air intercooler, stock like drivability and linear powerband.

Procharger costs a bit more, but has several different blower kits to choose from and some are 50 state legal. Air/air intercooler, stock like drivability and linear power band.

Whipple is along the price range of the larger Procharger kits, but costs more than the smaller Paxton and Procharger blower kits. They have several 50 state legal kits. Liquid/air heat exchanger, stock like drivability and instant torque style powerband.

To really maximize any of those kits you’re going to need to get a custom tune, add a fuel system, remove the cats, add headers and make the car not smog legal.
