Keep Paxton and re-gear rear end or sell and get a Whipple?

I bought a salvage yard 3.55 for about $300. About 20k miles out of an ecoboost. 3.73 Torsen will be pricier.

I just got one for $277 from LKQ
You guys think 3:73 be to much with boost? Not really a drag strip car, just something to have fun with and some occasional roll races...

15 manual, Paxton 2200sl with 3.6 pulley, stainless power free flowing headers, 2018 IM on pump 93. Last time I dynoed the car it hit 600whp on the nose, but it had the stock headers and a little fueling issue that probably killed some up top power. The fueling issue has been corrected and headers added since then, so I would guess between 630-650 maybe. I do plan on doing e85 in the future and dropping down to a 3.4 pulley so maybe that'll help out. Like I said the I feel like the PD does a bit better with the longer gearing. I feel like 3:73 would be to short, and like the previous poster said, 3:55 isn't to much of a change.
How many lbs of boost are you on? I have 3:73's making around 700hp on a vortech V7JT and I feel like the 3:73 are to much. I was thinking about going down to a 3.31 gear

Lol. Its a stick car...
There is your problem. Probably should've went Whipple in the beginning with a stick. Centri's work much better with the A10. I'm not sure I'd switch to a whipple now though. I would try going to a smaller pulley before gears. Maybe both if one doesn't give you enough.

Not sure how much boost. Whatever a 3.6 pulley gets you at around 7.5k. I'm thinking 3:55 might be the right choice and it doesn't cost to much to try it out, same for you if you wanna try 3:33s. They are fine when in boost, it's just off boost the car feels like a dog, at least to me. Others might think it feels fine.

Yeah, didn't really know what to expect, this is my first supercharged car, only had a turbo car prior to this. I've never owned any type of performance car that was an auto, but my next will be. I'm gonna keep this car for a very long time since I probably won't buy another manual and want to keep this one around for times when I wanna row my own. As far as my tuner is concerned this is the smallest pulley I should run for pump gas, so for right now going down is out, so putting a little more gear in it will be it.
