This cutting your own holes business has slowed the installation to a crawl. When you have to line up and measure from seams on flexible material it’s almost impossible to get accurate cut locations.
Got the seat belt button installed, the loop made by the strap is bigger than I’d like but it should still serve the purpose.
The headrest is giving me fits. Tried making an X instead of a hole but the foam under the leather is too thick so had to hack it out with a thin hobby knife. Then I didn’t recognize that the two plastic posts are NOT identical and of course put them into the opposite holes. Now I can’t get one out because it’s wedged in and I don’t want to have to take the new cover off to get at it. Good chance it will break coming out and I’ll have to try and order a new one.
