picked up my stash .
Also have a complete swap already to be dropped in ..
”Frankenstein “ build : stock Gen 3 SB/Gen 2 heads/Boss cams and Gen 1 timing with PBH control pack/ Built 6r80/R4200 . First of a few swaps ... finding Looking for good homes for all these engines .
Pretty sure a Voodoo’ is going to end up paired with a TH400 in a fox body some point down the road .

I am thinking of going back to NA in my GT 350 with the original motor I just received back from RPG (sleeved/new pistons /Oliver rods ) and transplanting the current power train (Fonzie built Voodoo/2.9 Whipple) in to one of my planned swaps .

What's the plan for the wonderful Fairmont wagon in the background?
That’s Fonzie’s .
I know he has big plans . Ordered an engine from Australia . Cant remember what it’s called again but I am sure the resident engine experts will know .

Barra? That would be an interesting swap into that for sure.

I've wanted a pristine Fairmont wagon for ages to build a sleeper. That one is even the perfect color.

Olaosunt, you mentioned above you were thinking about going back to NA. Could you share your thoughts on why you are thinking about that? I am always interested in learning from those who have supercharged these cars. I don’t have any plans to throw a Whipple on mine but the idea is always rolling around in the back of my head. 🤪

Also, can you share what the rebuild cost was from RPG? I always like to have some general data points on this incase I ever have to get mine rebuilt. Go ahead and DM me the cost if you are not comfortable sharing that in the thread. Thanks

Sent PM - rebuild cost .
Note this was a “rebuild “ of a previous build
Had the block sleeved the first time around and line honed for main studs .
Also previously had head studs /valve springs and OPG/CS .
I think I have already shared my experience with the whipple /GT 350 somewhere previously if you search ....

1st off I want to give my appreciation to you and others that share experiences and detailed build information for us “newbs!” Unfortunately my 2016 GT350 engine has recently seized and I may be at the rebuild process. Im pretty bummed to say the least. However, its like I’m going to night school as I read threads & comments like yours all night after work. Again thank you.

If you don’t mind I too would like to know the cost of this build you have detailed above. I’m trying to put together a build, identify a reputable/knowledgeable shop and get an idea of the varying costs so I can may informed decisions. I live in Las Vegas, but I’m prepared to travel to CA or AZ to get’er done.

If your ok with sharing the cost breakdown privately could you PM me at your convenience……. Again appreciate the info you have provided thus far…..thx!

2016 GT350 secondary chain broke motor seized at 18k miles.
rebuilt Original block machine shop sleeved, new heads, new cams, pistons. Upgraded mmr oil pump and head studs. Was trying to cover all points of failure. Ran great for 15 minutes and then misfire cylinder 7. Found water in 7 and in the oil. Head gasket checked, deck checked and head checked. Put back together same problem. Coolant holds pressure when cold, compression is perfect when cold. Looking to rebuild want get a replacement block, I have no idea what block is compatible. I have been reading this forum for days and all I can come up with is
GR3Z-6010-F . My parts guy says no way that block will work for my application. At this point I will take any help, ready to work just need a plan ?

GR3Z-6010-F is the correct part number for the Vooddo block. Now, Parts.Ford doesn't have that part # (6010) listed under the GT350, so it's possible that Ford doesn't want to sell the bare block. Even the short block, 6009, doesn't come up. It may be possible to order the bare block as the part number still comes up on the dealer websites, but availability may be hit or miss. You could use the Predator block but you'll have to check the clearance between the pistons and oil squirters.
