Haha...yeah, it's out in my shed double bagged until I can get it to the fabricator for mock up then machined and built.Extra points for the grass, dirt and wheel borough in the background!
What are you doing with this? Gave me an idea... Years ago, I built a Boss302 engine for my Coyote coupe swap from scratch...I mean every nut and bolt and it was much cheaper than buying the assembled engine from anywhere. Predator powered GT350R anyone?
Thanks. I changed the thread title and the designator.FYI, that is a voodoo block not a Predator block. Voodoo has oil squirters fed from mains, as you can clearly see in your pics. Predator has valley fed squirters and milled areas on block interior for larger rod big ends/bolts.
Other than that, same block.
Thanks.I remember that page and that car. It was very nice.
Do you remember roughly what the price savings was? Thanks.
I'm really curious to see if the current available parts can be assembled as cleanly and at a similar monetary benefit Will watch this one.
This was probably 8 years ago and the boss was pretty new....but I remember building the long block for about $7k - when the same engine assembled from Ford was close to $15k. When it came to the valvetrain, 32 of everything really ate into that budget.Do you remember roughly what the price savings was?
