My dealer called me this morning and told me a 2015 was in the showroom. It was an Ingot Silver Ecoboost Premium. It was an early pre-production model. I will echo what many have already said .. pictures do this car no justice at all. I'm in the car posting from my phone, so I'll post pics when I get home.
1. This car is absolutely gorgeous! This car is slung low to the ground. I especially noticed it when getting in and out. This is not a bad thing at all. The low height really complements the lines of the car and gives it an aggressive stance.
2. Loved, loved, loved what Ford did with the rear end. I was actually on the fence about it from the pictures, but seeing in person changed everything. Very elegant, but still all Mustang.
3. The interior was very nice. There wasn't a lot of soft touch materials, but the rep attributed that to the pre-production. The toggles are solid feeling, as we're the paddle shifters. Overall, the interior felt much more upscale in design. The seats were very comfortable, and my daughter said the back felt like it had about the same amount of room as our 2012.
4. They showed me a 2015 Super Duty in Magnetic. 100% glad I chose that color. The Ingot was nice too, but a little light for my taste.
Overall, it was a great experience. My 12 year old daughter loved the car, my wife was not impressed. Me, seeing the car in person only solidified my decision to get one. Ford, hurry up and build it already!
