Hi guys. after trying to buy a GT500 for over a year and loosing faith in many dealers I just received my car after long wait and have a few question for you guys.
car is new (60km)

Coolant hose from box to engine is this normal ?
it does not fit well and it seem like the hose is coming out

Also the wire that opens the hood, is that just like this from factory it just sits there and is loose

I agree with Jon about the hose, get it warranty replaced.

The hood cable should have little plastic push pins every now and then holding down, but it mostly free floats.

The clip seems to still be on the cable upstream, not far from the other one

There are 6 hold down clips that retain the hood latch cable.

@Hrannar Looks like you are missing 3 clips... 2 open holes at the radiator shroud and the one at the headlight. And it does appear that the hose has pulled from the crimp, but could have been from the manufacturing process. Hard to say, would have to look really close... Its smooth, but doesn't look stretched or "pulled".

Boils my blood for you guys with the GT500s, and all the problems you are all seeing in your builds, with the price you're all paying for these cars.

2020 has been rough on manufacturing and quality has suffered a bit in many sectors; but, frankly, Flat Rock has long been recognized by many like us for NOT pushing out the best quality, despite what is"proudly" slapped on each vehicle.

Nobody is expecting perfect, but it just sucks.
All the jokes about union labor are out there, and though it may offend anyone who actually is a member and on the line, the statements come from somewhere.

OP - hope you get this fixed, with little drama from your dealer. I'm sure you'll keep us updated.

Thanks, yes I feel the same, My family has 7 Mustang(69,70,95,01,03,05,06) my father is a car mechanic and i have been fixing cars all my life and this car has the one of the worst alignment i have seen in a Mustang, to buy a 2020 GT500 for me is not easy plus i have to pay 100% in taxes on top of the buying price. I have been waiting for over 17 months to get the GT500 and it is very sad to see this, missing parts, hoses badly placed, 2 screws on the fenders has been repainted very badly trying to align the front end by the factory
About the dealer warranty, there is no warranty as you cannot buy car like this here, but i knew that before i bought it
But i love this car and it will be 100% after few parts and alignment
