I know that these vehicles weren't bought to set mileage records but some like me must use them as a daily driver (weather permitting). I do city, back roads, country and an occasional a boot to the Eaton and I get around an average of 18.5 after doing the math on paper, dash has stated 19.8 (yeah right). Just looking for some numbers now that some of us have racked some FUN filled miles. Feel free to lie or tell the truth. As was said back in the day, Happy Motoring. :flag:

I'm getting about 13 or 14 average normal driving for a GT500 which means not keeping the foot out of it all the time. it's basically what I expected.

Do you guys or gals, run around in Normal mode?
I always drive around in sport mode after 1 PM, If people want to play sound games I switch to Track and leave it there, that way I don't have to hear the whine of the Mopars while showing off with their superchargers.

My average is around 11-12 mpg. I always drive in Sport mode with the exhaust in Track mode.

Same on both points

EDIT: I use MyMode, with Sport as the base setting, normal suspension, normal steering, and exhaust on Track which nets me 11-12MPG

I drive around in MyMode which is sport mode with normal shocks and exhaust, I average about 11 mpg in city driving.

For comparison, my 2013 GT500 averaged 14.2 mpg over a 7 year period and 9300 miles.

Yep, I too use MyMode in Sport, Track exhaust, Sport suspension, and normal steering.

I'm a TLC break-in guy, so I puttered around in Normal mode with a few half throttle blasts in the first 500 miles. In Normal mode, it's like an AOD of the '90s, it jumps into 3rd gear asap, lugs the engine and generally shudders the whole drivetrain. I was getting really annoyed until I started using Sport mode - MUCH BETTER! I did notice running 55 on 2 lane roads, it will stay in 6th, which is hard on gas mileage. In the second 500 miles (Sport mode and a dozen roll-on to 90mph) the dash says 18.5 mpg for the 1000 miles.

I also use Sport and Track Exhaust but I have it start in Quiet for the neighbors and click the mode switch to MyMode when I pull out of the subdivision and go to Track exhaust.

I cannot use Sport Suspension, it's like riding in a covered wagon...and it hurts. :-) Heck, even Normal is brutal on our terribly bumpy roads down here. I do use Sport Steering.

I agree about the sport suspension, it's like riding a unicycle down a long flight of stairs at high speed.

Funny, Earl, my buds and I were serious unicycle riders as kids...we rode those things for miles and miles. :-)

But, you're right and I think it was actually SOFTER on the unicycle...man, talk about SHARP vertical movements...OUCH!

Wow, you two think sport suspension is a rough ride? I think the normal suspension is too soft. Sport for me is just right and if you think sport is rough, don't go to the track suspension mode as that will really give you a stiff ride. I think I was too use to the RS. The Normal mode in the RS was like the Track mode in the 500. There was no way I could run in the track mode in the RS unless I was actually on a track.

I run mine in My Mode which is Sport Mode with quiet exhaust (also starts up in quiet exhaust mode). Since I have the Lethal X-pipe Resonator delete, it is quite a bit louder and quiet is like Normal use to be. When I am not in town, I do use the normal or sport mode exhaust. I have been averaging about 11.5 mpg and have 1400 miles on the car.
