Just noticed that the 18+ GT350 & GT500 don’t have the 18+ GT light. Why ?

I’m only about 35 min south of Detroit, I should go try my luck!
My ‘14 just past 8000mi and my ‘22 800mi, very happy and lucky to have both.

Nice. Very low mileage on both. That was at MGM

Now this is just sad. Doesn’t deserve to own it. How could he!

Because they didn't want to spend money redesigning the front end on a limited production model. Then GT500 just followed suit.

Ford had a "real" explanation for why it wasn't going to be very practical to update the front end. I know I read about it in a few places. This was the first thing I found with a quick-n-dirty search:
https://www.torquenews.com/106/no-facelift-coming-ford-mustang-shelby-gt350

Also I'll say that while I think I can understand the preference for the pre-2018 front end (though I still very much like the redesign), I do prefer the taillight redesign from 2018. Looks more aggressive and maybe futuristic (the latter may mean won't age as well, but we'll see).

Does this, perhaps, have something to do with the fact that they would have to crash test a bunch of - expensive - cars to get the new front bumper/fascia/lights to pass??

Glass roof option - a rarity for sure!!!
My son's has the glass roof too. Dealer wouldn't budge on the price, mainly because of the roof.

Super rare option I totally wish they’d have continued on the S550!
I custom ordered my ‘14 and only must haves were glass roof and Recaros!
Tell your son he’s part of the glass roof Shelby mafia! A rare group haha :)

Only 643 2013 GT500's with glass roof, 512 Sterling Gray total, of which 71 had glass roofs. In 2014 there were 636 Glass roof cars, 692 Sterling Gray total, and 81 Sterling Gray Glass roof cars. So 152 Sterling gray 2013-14 with glass roof, out of 1,279 13-14 glass roof GT500's total. I know he has the Marti report, but I haven't seen it. He has the Recaro's in all black, black stripes, Track pack, and Perf pack, Shaker, I don't think his was missing any option.

I’m waiting on my Marti but it was the first car I ever ordered and did:
-glass roof
-blue stripes
-blue stripe Recaro
-SVTPP
-Nav
Passed on SVTTP, Shaker sub, car cover
I believe I’m one of 12 cars with sterling grey and blue striped Recaros. How many ‘14s had my other options but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s 1 of 1.
It was built the week my son was born so it’s a keeper.
It also makes 1110rwhp SAE Dynojet so it’s uniquely scary :)

Double blue stripes definitely make it very rare.

On edit:
Only 30 sterling gray with blue striped Recaro seats were made. 46 of the Gray cars had Blue stripes. https://www.fordgt500.com/threads/07-14-gt500-production-numbers.192816/
