Just noticed that the 18+ GT350 & GT500 don’t have the 18+ GT light. Why ?

I don’t like the 18 and up GT lights. Why did they keep the 15-17 lights on the GT500 & GT350?

Probably just to seperate them. I also like the GT500/350 ones more. They probably agreed they look better so kept them on the higher end models.

Well, the GT350 was introduced for the '15 model year, so obviously it was going to share the headlamps of the current model.

The GT500 uses the same carbon composite header panel as the GT350, and it would have been costly to redevelop it for the '18+ headlamps.

But I can see 15-17 being alike but the 18+ gt350 didn’t get the change and so didn’t the gt500

Again, the carbon fiber composite header panel for the front lights/fascia/cooling was designed for the ‘15-17 lights so the ‘18+ Shelby cars kept the older lights (I prefer).

Nah, my ‘22 is much better with the DCT!
And I’m a hard core stick shift guy. My ‘14 makes 1100rwhp with a Mag XL.
For the type of vehicle the ‘20-22 GT500 has become the DCT is a better performance choice.

Yeah it’s a lot faster. Have you ever raced the two ? It’s nice to have one of each tho

I’ll race both myself at the same track/same day this fall.
But the ‘14 already went 9.55@154 with about 100-150hp less.
I don’t plan to drag the ‘22 much at all other than to see how it runs exactly as I drive it daily. Ideally it’ll be bottom 10s on Toyo R888Rs as I’m keeping the handling/braking for potential track day for fun.
Yes great to have both options.

It looks amazing 🤩 Looks like one of my Maisto die cast replica cars. There was one at this dealer in Detroit all black. They wanted about 68k for it. That’s the perfect body style for the GT500 IMO. How many miles ?

I’m only about 35 min south of Detroit, I should go try my luck!
My ‘14 just past 8000mi and my ‘22 800mi, very happy and lucky to have both.
