We get a ton of people asking about tuning with SCT devices still. With Lund and most tuners using HP tuners now, we have had plenty of SCT devices available, but not as many tuners on that platform it seems anymore.

We have brought on Matt Honeycutt and JP Tuning to fill that void. A lot of people will be familiar with Matt, some may not.

Matt Honeycutt is a technologist, aftermarket calibration engineer, and embedded software engineer with a passion for calibrating complex vehicle builds and applying technology to improving the customer tuning experience.

Matt holds a BS of Computer Engineering and started his aftermarket career in 2002 at only 17 years old with BamaChips, BEFORE BamaChips was acquired by American Muscle.

Matt has worked in the aftermarket calibration space with companies such as Lund Racing and HP Tuners building leading calibration definitions, and EzLynk developing an industry leading cloud-based ECM profile engine.

Matt isn't just a calibrator / tuning specialist, he is a programming / coding specialist as well. A great example of this was recently we had an issue under high boost where our PCM was force resetting itself. Matt was able to find an unmapped parameter, and write several patches into the software, to eliminate and resolve the issue on our 2018 car.

Matt's combined knowledge of automotive engineering and aftermarket calibrating makes Juggernaut Performance Tuning the ultimate choice for aftermarket ECU tuning.

What does JP tuning charge you ask... Tune pricing is very reasonable for the level of service you get.

You can follow the link here, but pricing is broken down below as well.

Basically a full remote tuning session, with 2 fuels, pump and e85, all in is $500. The most you'll pay for a tune is $500.

Good to know. SCT hopefully will make a comeback. It’s better than the others IMO.

So far I have to say they've been amazing. I had an issue with my tuning device they got figured out, they walked me through datalogging without a laptop connection (I use a desktop) and they've been working hard on my tune. I can't speak for the end result yet as I've got more logs to send, but from a support standpoint I am very impressed.

Did not expect the Sunday tech support at all! The wife was very happy we were able to move the car yesterday I told her it would probably be at least mid week lol

What’s the combo they are tuning? Did you get rid of your Supra?

I did sell the supra. I loved the way it drove but I missed the creature comforts of the mustang. I have spinal arthritis and it was just too hard to get in and out of.

The setup they are tuning is a beefcake special Vortech V3 Stage 2 kit with FIC1000's. Install went great, and just got my second tune revision a couple of minutes ago. Excited to button it up!

I noticed there isn't a 91 octane option in the drop down menu on the site. Is a 91 tune available?

Interesting to have more tuners in the Coyote space.

Sorry about all the drama you have been having regarding JP, Lund, and Alex. I like Alex but I didn't like the way he handled the situation, or the livestream, and I was surprised at the calm response you uploaded.
