I had replaced mine and later put the factory ones back in.
Unless I decide later to install a mid comp system, I will leave mine in. I already replaced 4 door speakers and I am installing a Dual 10" Non ported sub box I had made to fit tight into the front of trunk against the back seats.

Okay, well my thread is on its 16th page now. It's really meant to be about improving the sound simply by snipping a wire or disconnecting an offensive and useless speaker.

My system sounded horrible until I checked forscan and found that my front, rear, and center speakers were disabled. So I enabled them and now the system sounds like a premium sound system.
