JMS Boostmax - 44RWHP claim

Anyone know anything about this? It says 44RWHP with just the plug in. If true, and for only $309 I'm surprised I just found out about it. I'm always lurking in all corners of this forum. I've yet to jump on a Cobb and Adam tune and was planning to, but now this? Thoughts and concerns?

no, all that plug in stuff is crap. cobb, ngauge or good sct tuner is what you need to sick with.

It improperly adds boost without compensating really anything else in the tune. That's a bad idea.

The reason you don't see people talking about it is because no one is buying a plug in that turns up boost,absolutely not the way to go and it's a matter of time until it fails. For $100 u can get an sct with great tunes on it made for the car, not just turning up boost controls.

I love how it says "warranty friendly"... yeah ohhhhh kayyyy. Also "simple plug and play". Nope the Cobb unit is simple plug and play.

I could be wrong, but its not just raising the boost amount as ECU controls revery aspect of engine, boost, throttle% , timing etc .
I bet this device is tricking map sensor to see lower boost, which raises total boost you see .
If so, that not good as map sensor is used for other parts of ECU input data , load, ignition timing, fuel etc (this is a speed density system ).

How about if you have a tune, CAI, Intercooler, catchcans....then is it ok to have the PedalMax NOT the Boostmax?

boost max pedal max... wtf-max get a tuning device and get a tune that will do everything you want.. (get more than max!)

Don't have the Boostmax and do not want it as I mentioned before, however I ended upgetting the pedalmax which is different than the Boostmax....
