So today I brought my car to the convention center, where it will stay for the next two days. It rained all freaking morning, an absolutely crappy day. The person who runs Mustang Week wanted to put me near the Shelby display, who am I to argue, lol.
When I pulled up to the Shelby trailer, the SA driver backed me in right next to their display cars. I got out to start drying the car off and who walked up to the wife and I? Gary Paterson, the SA president. We had met Gary a few times over the past year, but each time I am always amazed how down to earth this guy is. First thing he offered to do was help me dry my car off. Seriously, this guy is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Always friendly, and happy to talk with you. Such a good guy.
He went on to cleaning the cars they brought, and next thing I knew, the SA driver had me driving their cars to help align them in front of their trailer….. pretty cool in my book. I guess my wife saw me, after I had already moved the Super Snake and SE GT500, and snapped a couple pictures while I was aligning the new Super Snake Speedster.
I snagged this photo from the Friends of Mustang Week Fakebook page, but here is a shot of all the cars in the convention center waiting for tomorrow. My car is the last one in the line, directly in front of the SA display, with the hood open. Looking very much forward to the show tomorrow and Saturday!
