It is not from that car, I saw this car in person when I was @ Shelby. It is in line to become a wide body car. Now thats one way to fix the damage

Surprisingly the wing suffered NO damage at all. The mirror and rear quarter were the sacrificial lambs, lol.
I've always wondered if the dealer kept that car, or if Ford took it back, or what. Any insihgt?

Whoever the owner is decided to send it to Shelby to get a wide body. I do not know if that was the plan all along, before the "incident" or not, but it is a good way to fix it.

I thought it was special order for one of the Ford family members?

That could be accurate, I didn't want to be in the know, so I didn't ask. I had heard the same thing, back when the accident happened.

Some were wondering what was included in the "swag bag" that was given to the first 15 owners. Besides the one night stay at The D Resort, the behind the scenes tour of Shelby American, dinner, 2021 members package (hat, t-shirt, window sticker, patch, pins, collectors coin, membership card), presentation, and meet & greet, the following was given to each of us.

At first look, I thought this was a license plate frame for the car with my CSM # engraved. I just now realized that it is a picture frame, meant to hold a 4x4 picture. It can be wall hung, or sit on a desk. This would be be great for a picture of my car when it's on the winner circle, in front of Shelby American.

Pretty cool package, if you ask me.

I did not pay for the first 15 package to get any goodies. I paid to get the lowest number I could get, for the factory behind the scenes tour, and the meet & greet. The goodies are just icing on the cake, but if I am being honest, I love them :like:

One step closer to completing my "Susan" project. Today I received the required (and unobtanium) dog bones to mount the wing to the trunk lid.

Thanks to the pioneers @Epiphany and @Tomster for posting up the info for getting these. Without them, the CFTP wing would not be correctly mounted.

For some reason (photos posted online by Shifteck) led me to believe these were forearm sized dog bones. As you can see by the quarter for reference, they are only about the length of a pen.

I like to disassemble things.
Nice swag Jaime!

Regarding the dog bones...I've been lucky enough to have a couple sets from Multimatic, one for a CF R style wing I used on my GT350 and the other came with the GT4 wing I picked up this past fall. I too grabbed a set from Shifteck and readily admit that they are a darn good copy. The cylindrical washers and locking hex nuts are near identical to the OEM pieces as well. These are likely to be increasingly difficult to find as we move forward so I was happy to see somebody making them.

Picked up some more Sliplo’s for the Anderson/FP front splitter. I think I should have enough now….

I was told maybe end of June. Car is still in the body shop. The entire car is pretty much being repainted from all the things I have opted to do. Definitely don’t wanna rush things now that it’s finally in production. I want them to take the time they need to do it perfectly.
