Jaime, your attention to detail is top notch! Car looks amazing. Are you close to saying your complete on the car? For a car like this, I always wonder adding the extra bits, "Is that too much...?" Its your car, so only you can say when its too much.

But congrats and cant wait to see some pictures with the car unloaded and in your garage again.
Thanks Josh. Are we ever done? lol

I will be tinkering for sure, but I will not permanently alter the car from how it was built from SA. The boost gauge is a must for me, but I will not permanently modify anything, and I will keep all original parts (A pillar in this case) to remain with the car. When they do come up with the parts needed to add the dash pod, I will then purchase it and install it myself, but this will be a SA optioned thing anyway, and something they can update the records to show the car now has.

Swapping the SC lid is not a permanent thing, and I will keep the original lid with the car. I "may" do the 3.8 Whipple, but not until SA has added it to their options list (as a fully SHELBY branded unit). If/when they do, and if I decide to do it, I can install it myself and SA will update the registry to show the car has the SA/Whipple.

I will be doing my own touch under the hood, but like before, all original parts will be kept with the car. For the most part that's it for me.

I hope.......

Hot off the UPS Express….. Kong Performance full carbon fiber CAI.

I have been eying this since I saw the teaser on Fakebook. Luckily for me I got one of the first batch. This became more of a must for me, due to the new hood on my car. Running an open lid CAI means I have to worry more about water entering the air box area, because of the side vents on the hood.

I absolutely love my 1320 Junkie CAI, but I couldn’t resist when I saw this one.

This thing is a work of art, it’s absolutely beautiful. Amazing craftsmanship. They were also good about using an S&B filter. I will have to measure the filter when I get the time, but I think it is larger too. My only dislike (if I hade to critique anything) is the Kong logo is under the clear coat so I can’t remove it.

Anyway, here she it.

If it’s only in or just under the lacquer, can one of you carbon contacts not flat it back just enough to remove it and then re lacquer it ? :like:

This may just be something to do over the winter. I just need to decide if it bothers me that much.

Man I wish I had the time available to drive it home, that sure would be fun.

That is no longer "Your" car!
Now that it's official, how would you like to arrange your monthly support payments?

CONGRATS, Jaime! One more countdown and a short wait, you can do that standing on your head after all the others. :-)
Yeah buddy! Once again I find myself glad that I did not deactivate the Ford Pass app :sunglasses:
