Funny you ask, the Stripes and the SHELBY on the calipers are Ford's Star White. I swayed on the color for a while. I contemplated Wimbledon White, but then decided staying with Oxford.

I really wanted something unique. Oxford White is too loud, and Wimbledon White is too yellow. I chose Star White because my 2020 F150 Limited is that color, and it looks great.

Ford Performance Blue with Star White stripes is (to me) a modern play on Guardsman Blue with Wimbledon White stripes of old. I think the result speaks for itself.

Aha, I thought the stripes didn't look very Oxfordy. I was a huge proponent of Wimbledon way back, and the Star White you chose is the next best thing. Possibly better.

Jaime, Congratulations on the WB GT-500. It looks bad to the bone!! I love my WB SS. My only advice from here is drive cautiously while learning the car. Refrain from spirited driving on cold tires. Other than that—as Carroll Shelby said, go like hell! Herman

When you put it like that, you may be right. My OT schedule, wife and bank account will argue differently, but not a "bad" problem to have I guess

Indeed you were, and I was listening loud and clear I wish you could see it in person, as I have tried many times to make it show in pictures or video, without success. The metallic of Star White also ties in perfectly with the FPB metallic.

It's funny how seeing the rear quarters in the side view mirrors messes with your head, even though the car has not widened from mirror to mirror. Kinda like driving my Raptor.

Jamie I was at Shelby Friday to check on my car and saw your beautiful car. The stripes with flake are fantastic, pictures do not do the color justice. The widebody on a 500 is cool AF. You are going to have a killer ride. I hope it doesn't become a garage car so people can see it. These guys are doing a bunch of killer builds.

Very cool, I am glad that you got a chance to see it in person, because pictures jut do not do this car justice. Well, it looks amazing in pictures, but when you see the cat in full 3D eyesight, its a different ballgame.

I spoke to Shelby today, the punch list is 99% done, and the car should ship by the end of the week!
