Ok, I may just be grasping at straws here, but........ I think my car may have moved from storage, to the body shop.

The following image is a snap shot of the Ford Pass app showing my car's location since it arrived there back in the first week of September.

Now, after almost 5 months it is showing the following location.

No, this in not an CSI quality investigation lol, but I am hopeful because the last time I spoke to my POC, he said it "should" go into production the last week of January. Wouldn't cha know, today is the start of that week.

Jaime: I'm certain that I'm not alone here when I say that most if not all of us did some "pulling at straws" during our own "wait time" so I say rock on and hope for the best. Kinda funny that we had all the talk about killing the modem and you are hoping the battery doesn't go dead. <smile>

Bottom line, it's getting REALLY close my dear friend so my recommendation is, steady as she goes.

Hopefully it has moved. How is the Ford pass still working? Did they have the car on a battery tender? I know my Ranger after three weeks said remote connectivity is being terminated due to low battery level.

I do like your investigative skills though. Like me finding my car at the railyard and sneaking a photo through the fence.

I got the powering down notification a few times over the past 5 months. my guess is they would start it to move every now and again, probably to get to a different car. Each time they did, I was able to get an update, and each update still showed the car in the same area. today was the first update I got since before Christmas, and it felt like Christmas when I saw that it moved finally.
