@Jmeo , We hung out with SA on Friday when they were in Florida.

Seen the SE in person at it was beautiful. You are going to love it. Unfortunately I did not take pictures of it.

I will ask my buddies who went also to see if they did and I will post them.
That’s pretty cool, thanks for the feedback. If you do get some pictures, post away please. It’s surprising just how little information there is out there right now.

Jaime,

Not sure, but does this help?

You can see Vince driving the car he designed. He emphasized the track-focused 2" lowered springs along with a new aggressive suspension tune. Look at that cool vented carbon fiber hood! Very excited for you!

One step closer....... got my shipping spacers, since the car will have what I believe to be CFTP suspension, once completed.

Maybe this was already answered but do they keep your stock parts after the conversion i.e. your CFTP wheels?

Normally all cars start life as a standard GT mustang, and for those they sell the take off parts, so you can not keep them. I am told if your car starts life as a GT350, 0r GT500, you get to keep all the take off parts.

That said if I had a CFTP car, I would not send it to them with the CF wheels on it, as to be sure they do not get damaged or lost.

I did install CFTP front springs, but the rear are stock. Shelby will be changing front and rear springs, and sways to what I believe will be the CFTP setup, plus recalibrating the Magnaride as well.

2" lowered springs has to be a mistake, no way your driving this car that low...not even on a track i don't believe....

All GT500's have the same front sway bar, and you have already installed the front springs. So guess they might change the rear sway bar and springs?
The idea of re-calibrating the Magnaride sounds intriguing.

I just meant they are changing the base suspension to CFTP, including the calibration. They state the calibration is "Shelby Specific", but I imagine it is close to CFTP, if not the same.

I will be putting the stock front springs back in, and taking out the Ford adjustable camber plates as well, because they will be installing Shelby specific camber plates (probably made by Maximum Motorsports, or the like).

We are getting closer, the car may get picked up this week!

Also, I am wondering what interest there may be in some take off parts from my original car???

Stock hood (bare, no vent, pins, or hardware)
Side skirts
who knows what else....

I will be selling all factory parts that come off for the SE conversion.

If only the hood fit the 350s...
