How long is your (our) wait expected to be?

Hi Andy, hope all is well up there!

I brought my car to the shop early because we had a good weather day, so it’s been in the queue. I believe their plan is to get to it in the next two weeks, and it will take up to two weeks.

Seems like I keep tormenting myself with waiting games, but compared to the past timeline, this one is easier to swallow.

I‘ll be posting here as soon as it’s done.

Man, that was easier to say than feel…. I can‘t stand the wait, lol.

IIRC, it had something to do with the clearance between the SE hood and the Whipple supercharger Shelby put on his car. I think they were painting and putting on a KR hood. But that's what I vaguely remember JMEO saying a few months ago on the thread. I'm probably mis-remembering.

The Capt is correct, the hood rubbed the Whipple so they sent me a KR hood. It has a higher cowl and clears the Whipple. The body shop I picked does great work, it's just been a minute since I dropped it off (3 months, lol).

Hope to bring her home next week.

Whoa, Jamie! Was the Raptor not enough for towing purposes? In any event, no problems now. :-)

Congrats Jaime, I know you liked your Raptors, but in my humble opinion, they were not designed as tow vehicles. Love the new truck.

I am old school and love my 2002 Excursion and 2001 F250, both 7.3"s for towing.

Ford’s made some interesting choices with the changes on the 25’s. Those wheels aren’t to bad. They removed some previously standard equipment on the 450’s. The rapid red is a very nice color on these trucks.
