Hello all,

This has been a long time coming.

We finally have our Ecoboost Mustang kits ready. These kits come out of the box ready to go, no fittings to install into the can or hoses!

Our 3.0 can has a 3oz capacity, and an improved filtering system. The can is anodized along with the bracket to ensure a long life of working and looking good.

The can splits near the center for easy servicing. Can's are available in Black or Satin Silver... No additional charge for either color.

Retail on the kit? Only $139 shipped

Is this catch can is just as good as the UPR catch can?
Or do we need the UPR Dual Catch Can?

David,

In our testing the PCV side is the one you need to worry about, the clean side see's little to no oil in most applications.

Both setups will do the job, pick the one the fits your needs, price point, ease to install/service and customer support. There are some videos on youtube comparing the models on the coyote platform.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Vinny

UPR claims their dual valve catch can design prevents oil from getting to the turbo as well as preventing it from getting into the intake. My understanding is the JLT and Mishimoto catch can's only prevent oil from entering the intake.

I plan to purchase a catch can in the next couple weeks. I love the price point on the JLT catch can. But I'm not sure if I should purchase it or the UPR. Longterm reliability is paramount for me as my car is a daily driver (approx 1k miles a month) and my only transportation to work since my wife and I have vastly different schedules and work on opposite sides of the city.

UPR setup also pulls vacuum on the crankcase under boost which helps the whole PCV operation.

Is the UPR dual catch can kit a complete kit or do you have to modify any stock parts to install this kit?
The reason for the question is If I ever want to put my car back to stock I do not want to end up at a Ford Part Dept.

I bought the JLT so I was drawn to this post, seems to me if you want info on UPR I"d go to their site also if the concern is the turbo I"m wondering can both catch cans be installed?

Why is the JLT on the driver's side while the UPR and Mishimoto are on the passenger side?
The mishimoto's I've seen in the shop are mounted in the same area as ours.

As for the other company, I'm sure it's due to size and hose routing.

Correct, but the UPR does work under boost to help with crankcase pressure while the other 2 don't. That's part of the reason to have it mounted on the turbo side.
