JLT Oil separator results from a VIR Track day

We got our GT350 on track with SVT Cobra club last weekend at beautiful Virginia International Raceway. While we were there we decided to do a real world test on oil collection on a typical track day.

5 sessions and roughly 165 Miles.

glad I found this thread, i was starting to worry. Just checked my catch cans after ~1400 miles street driving (500 to 1900 miles on car pretty easy driving) drivers side looked new, no oil. Pas. side had +35CC's

I dont know about JLT but my UPR catch can collects so much oil, so much so that I have to keep emptying it every 300 miles because I m afraid it will be full

I had JLT on my GT500, it was collecting close to nothing. I switched to Bob's, and the amount was very significant all of a sudden. Not all catch cans are the same....

I just received my JLT catch can for the passenger side and noticed one of the hoses is slightly indented for a couple of inches just before attaching to the can. It’s not crushed all the way, just a bit indented. Anyone think this will be a problem? Any other thoughts?

The hose on your can is an OEM Ford hose, the indentations in them is pretty typical from manufacturing. They bend them with heat.

We buy the hoses brand new through Ford and trim them to fit this application.

In short, no it won't be a problem.
