Well I finally got some time off work to head down to JLT so the guys there can take measurements and design a heat shield for the 2015 Paxton/Vortech kits. As some know they only offer the blow through pipe and filter for the kit which doesn't include the heat shield. They will be using my car as a test vehicle. Looking forward to helping those out with the Paxton/Vortech kits take advantage of a great intake kit for the car. I'll post up pics when they are done.

Took the car in today. They fabricated a new heat shield from
the air box that comes with the cold air intake kit. They actually cut quite a bit off to get it to fit snug with the intercooler pipes that are in the way. They also fabbed up a new 4" pipe and fitted a new filter. It looks great and they will start producing it very soon to sell to everyone. For now I am going to cut a hole in the back side of the box so I can fit my UPR oil Seperator in the engine bay. It doesn't fit right now due to the box being in the way. So those with the UPR Paxton/Vortech specific oil Seperator will have to fab something up to get it to fit. Other than that it is a great product and I am only seeing about 4-8 degrees above ambient temps with the setup, although the intercooler has a lot to do with the lower temps.

Does your tune need to be refreshed?
I already had the intake kit, all that was added was the heat shield. I'm sure Lund accounts for the larger intake in my tune.

Nice Jeff!

Hey, I have a question for you. Did you need to move the idler pulley position or change your belt size using the 3.6 pulley?

I moved the idler pulley from the SC kit to the spot it called for in the instructions and installed the provided belt from Paxton.

MAF Housing is not in that same location on a centri kit, tune revision is not required. You can essentially run intake less, with just the centri blades exposed if you wanted to, or with a mesh screen etc.

So far so good! The box has a tight fit so it doesn't move around. I'm working on trying to mount the oil separator this weekend.
