Finally winter is moving out here in Michigan! Got the Baer ss4's all on. I will say to anyone thinking of these brakes, the steel crush washers sent with the brakes didnt seal well for me. I ordered some brass washer off amazon that worked much better. These are light brakes and saved appr. 100lbs total off the car.

Also took the opportunity to install some differential support. Added the Steeda hard core bracket and bushings. I haven't driven the car yet to get a feel for the NVH but the bracket and bushings are supposed to add a bit but we will see.

Finally, off the jack stands, 15" rear wheel conversion is done. Mac Fab bead locks and Weld craft made a not so common wheel selection work out nicely with the baer brakes. I spent a lot of time getting a wheel to work so I would'nt have another car sitting next to mine with the same wheels - I hate that!

Looks good. Why did you go through the effort to put a 15" on the rear? I know you mentioned weight reduction, but you can get a very light 17" setup.

Honestly it was just to be unique and I wanted run a 275 60 15. There are so many of these cars running the same wheels and the 305 45 17 DR set up that I wanted to separate from that look. I know no real performance gain is to be had. I went 1 .59 on my D5 17" set up off idle so I know that combo works well.

Looks good man. I'm planning on 15x9 beadlocks for my car.

Drove the car for the first time this year last night. Dropped it off to get viking rear shocks, 1500hp axles and bmr k member installed. The NVH from the steeda hard core bracket is horrible. that will be coming off and for sale shortly. It would piss me off even if this was a dedicated strip car the NVH is so bad. Any one else use this on the street / light strip applications with feedback?

Looking at your build thread, I see you did the poly bushings too? In fairness, I still have the stock bushing in the carrier so maybe it will soften up the NVH/Gear whine when I install the red or black poly's? I should be specific, its more gear whine on decel than true NVH.

No poly. I have all aluminum in there.

Nope. It's solid as a rock. Don't even feel it back there. I feel the exhaust dump though. My exhaust is also hard mounted until the very back where I have two rubber mounts.
