So, I'll most likely be bashed but don't really care, finally achieved the sound I was craving (Nissan 370z).
I had added a 23" cherrybomb after the cats, to a less bent piping to a "sharp" 26" tip that's 4" in diameter

The tips come out of the bumper the same angle as the holes. The tips stick out only as far as the farthest point of the bumper. Acquired taste but I like it. And again. Sounds amazing. Less drone than just the muffler delete (still not sure why...) and sounds like a jdm v6.

The bottom of the tips are also parallel with the lines of the bottom of the bumper.

The exhaust has 0 rasp, all v6 noise and low drone. Very happy with it. Just need to find a permanent solution to this.

Those tips sure stick out but if you are happy who the heck cares.

Also, thought I was the only one that was going to add cherry bombs to my car lol, guess not. Got two in my office that I was going to put on an h-pipe with my muffler deletes before I went FI and ordered a full 3" exhaust.

Ill post a video tomorrow but there is no rasp and sounds like a 370z with an exhaust. IMO sounds fantastic and what a v6 should sound like. And it's not obnoxiously loud.

I was close to doing a more aggressive bosozoku setup but I'll start with this... may push the pipes a bit closer to the bumper or get a roush bumper and do a duel offset setup. Not sure yet.

Looks like a buck toothed mustang. As long as you like it though. Id like to hear it.

Honestly I think it looks pretty good. Nice going on getting the sound you want, I recently did the same, H pipe with 12" vibrant resonators directly after the H portion paired with a muffler delete. Zero rasp, loud but manageable and most people say "this is a V6?" when they hear it. Looking forward to hearing yours.

Like others have said, if you are happy, that is all that matters. The only critique I have is the tips. If I saw that car in a parking lot I would assume that someone had no clue what they were doing, or the exhaust shop was 3rd rate at best. Now, apparently you do know what you are doing. But that would be my first impression of the car. It just isn't aesthetically pleasing. As far as the welds go, if it doesn't leak or fall apart, then who cares. It works, and that is all that you are trying to do.

Sounds great!!

Hi,

Your exhaust system sounds great!

Seems like not much drone in the video.

Does it feel like your car has a bit more power now?

Also those tips look very sharp on top.

It looks like they could give you a painful cut on your shin if you ran into them at night accidentally, if you forgot about them being out a bit further.

Interesting install.

ok guys, again, it only goes out as far as the furthest part of the rear bumper, so unless youre grinding on my car you wont hit your shin on it..
