Just watch episode 3 - enjoyed it. Did a feature on a stock Mustang GT, which he took to Hennessey and had a 2.9 supercharger fitted (all other parts stock apparently, but I would imagine injectors, other s/c ancillaries etc were changed as part of the supercharger fitment) - and it cracked 200mph. I think it maxed at very nearly 208mph!

The only people Hennessy doesn't screw over are celebrities and the rich here in the USA because they are a short distance away. Anyone else he screws over and he's been sued by so many. He's a first class asshole. Look him up on line and see for yourself the crap he's done. Even his ex employees went under oath against the things he's done.

Anything he's done to the mustang you guys are talking about could be done yourself and done better. It's not uncommon at all.

Don't really know too much about Hennessey in the UK, I don't think they have a dealer here. But the story was basically showing that, regardless of who does the work, for a reasonably modest budget (i.e. a supercharger and ancillaries only) you can get your stock Mustang close to or better than 200mph. Admittedly it is a TV programme and in reality you'd probably end up popping the stock transmission and/or driveshafts after a while, but hey .... why let the facts get in the way of a good story? .

Yeah. We had that episode on tv about a year or so ago. I wouldn't let that douche bag touch my lawn mower.

Didn't he release the Venom that basically 'Put him on the map' as it beat the Bugatti off the top speed? That's about as much I know about Henessey as a 'brand'

Yep, the Venom was one of his. I will say that I didn't think the man himself came across particularly well on the Jay Leno programme, but regardless of what you think of Hennessey the YouTube videos of the Venom are unbelievable! .... for a road car the acceleration is mind-bending and I think the VMax is well over 260mph!
