People opting for Mustangs equipped with the Mustang premium package were up 31.3 percent over last year, as we prepare for the introduction of Mach 1 this spring.

While I like the Licoln vehicles, how do they survive in this market at the numbers they produce, let alone keep dealerships open? They made 7,741 vehicles, How much longer can they sustain that?

The text you quoted says they increased sales by 9.7% yet the breakdown under it says a decrease of 2.4%???

My thought as well but maybe overall car sales were down more by other manufactures thus increasing Mustang percent because they were down less?

Those sale numbers include fleet sales for the manufacturers. So the overall Mustang sales were down because of a drop in fleet demand (rental cars).

Retail sales were up year over year and this is good news for Ford because that is generally higher optioned more profitable vehicles to produce that the 4-cylinder coupe or convertible that typically is ordered by the rental car fleets.
