Joking aside, it looks like a very good option if you want peace of mind while you give full freedom to your kids to play anywhere they want. Do you know how costly those things are?

I found a good car cover helped with previous cars until a cat scratched and pissed on my turbo.

Probably could have just walled off the 3rd bay a lot cheaper or something like one of those accordion style room dividers they have in conference rooms to section it off into smaller rooms.

Would this work outside for a convertible that can't be parked in a garage and may or may not end up with 3ft of snow on any given day on it's convertible top?

Put the kids in the enclosed plastic shelter and leave the car out where you can get to it. Much better solution.
