I ordered it in January 2019., and It arrived on July 4th of 2019.

I ordered it as a no option car:

It is a great car with many trips to the north GA mountains.

A lot of twisty mountain roads up there?

Glad you are enjoying the car.

I saw a new one that caught my eye at a local Ford dealership in July of 19' while looking at a new Bullitt Mustang...a week later I traded in a Scat Pack Challenger for my new GT350.

Ordered mine Jan 11th 2019, drove it home Aug 6th 2019. It seemed like for ever to get. Glad I bought it, VERY happy with it. I couldn’t find anyone in Jan with an allocation for a “R”. If I waited there were “Rs” available later in the year and some were under sticker. Woulda, shoulda, coulda!
I really wanted an “R” but I have to say I’m not disappointed with my car at all! Still would like a “R” and keep the Shelby I have. You know the drill, I want my cake and I want to eat it to! (And I want your cake)

I have 14.5 months of ownership. I ordered it on April 29, 2019, built on August 01, 2019, and delivered on August 21, 2019.
I told the wife & the salesman that this is not a daily driver, will not see rain intentionally, and will get about 3000 - 4000 miles/year.
Well, it's NOT a daily driver, and I does NOT go out in rain intentionally...... I kept my word on those two, but boy did I miss the annual mileage amount...!!!
I have 18,500 miles already.... I just can't take the short route to ANYWHERE...!
I did get 11,000 miles out of the OEM Cup 2's... I only had one spirited drive in the North Georgia mountains on the original set...... I was chasing Doc (OP) in the twisties. He has car handling skills and plenty of track experience which was evident.
No performance mods, just a few cosmetic mods; side stripes being the most recent.

I have never had a car that was this fun to drive... my Cayman handles better, but this exhaust note without the resonators is just pure vehicular crack.

Thanks for everyone's post. I took mine out yesterday on some back roads and on the freeway (Hwy 400).

I waited on an entrance ramp for a opening. I did timing on my cell phone. It's look like it took 4 seconds to get to highway speed (65 Mph) and another 2 seconds to get arrested (85 Mph is a super-speeder ticket in GA). I suspect another 2 seconds would not humor the Judge in traffic court.

It was a fun drive, and I headed back to home. A local police car was following me (I flipped off the exhaust switch). I pulled in the local QT gas station, and he pulled next to me. No problem as he just liked the car.

Interesting, where I am at our highways are 70 mph in GA. I thought 20 max (I aim for less normally of course but at WOT you forget where you're at sometimes) was super speeder. Thanks for the reminder that on any highway 15 over on a 70 mph SL highway is still super speeder. =(

I was on GA Hwy 400 which isn't an Interstate but a 5-lane State Hwy. It stops in Dahlonega where the real fun starts doing the 6 Gaps in the mountains.

Yes, we drive up there while keeping the speed under 20 Mph over the speed limit. The radar guys are easier on a GA tag over an out of State tag. You need to hook up with us.

The fall tourist season (the leaves turn color) is almost over so a good drive will be soon.

I picked mine up in January of this year (used) with only 1500 miles on it. Due to covid and other family issues I have only put 1500 miles on it since. Am hoping for a better outcome in 2021....
Love this car.
