This is true and I don't disagree with you.

BUT,........how do you buy parts that aren't available? (Like the info that was posted in the video I posted yesterday. Alex explains that it's all, both tuning and hardware, are seemingly getting clamped down on.)
How do you register and insure your car if it isn't emissions legal? No way you will be able to drive it on the street without getting pulled over/getting caught.
I see what you're saying and I don't disagree. But here in Colorado the DMV is so far behind that one in ten cars don't even have plates on the car. Like they literally have zero identification anywhere on the car and it's common to see in daily traffic. When the rat rod craze hit here, people had these turds titled as anything they grabbed from the junk yard. To this day I still have no clue how they got plates or who they bribed, but there was junk like old Hudson truck bodies on Packard frames with a '97 Honda Civic VIN, running completely valid plates. So I suppose my answer is, I would drive illegally or sketchily. I don't know, I just grew up around that sort of thing. My dad wrote, tuned, and burned his own chip for the old A9L to run a blown car before companies like Diablo even caught up. We just always tinkered with crap and nothing seemed impossible if you had the raw materials.

Wow,......LOL

I'm sure the EPA, or whatever new governmental committee they create, will be clamping down on all the states in due time unfortunately.
We'll see how it goes. I don't want the car/truck performance industry to be affected at all. It's my love/passion.

Good luck to us all. 🤞👍

I agree, I don't want them to touch our hobby either. I mean, for me, if push comes to shove, I'll be doing ridiculous crap they can't touch. Like Colin Furze type of stuff where you put a 450cc motorcycle engine in a mobility scooter. Whatever it takes to get my fix. While I'm definitely not ready to jump over to EVs, if/when the day comes, I guarantee you my EV will be stripped to the bone, lowered, and looking great. If that's what it takes.... Would be like watching porn vs actually having sex, but I guess you'd scratch that itch nonetheless.

German WWII , zero TEL C3 (equivalent to USAF 130 octane):

"The C-3 grade was a leaded blend of about 15 percent volume of synthetic isoparaffins and 85 percent volume of a base stock containing 45 to 50 percent volume aromatics, produced by further processing of a hydrogenated gasoline almost identical to unleaded"
Thanks, pretty much what I figured (I knew ze Germans synthesized fuel, probably at the Ploiești refinery; we lost lots of airman trying to bomb it).

The point of the green deal is to not hit the point of no return where the cost of undoing client change jumps exponentially. During your lifetime you won't be impacted by climate change too bad. But your children's children will.

At least you had fun though.

Are you actually braindead or do you just idolize ignorance?
Are you saying anyone who disagrees with you is ignorant?

Man made climate change is a hoax.
