I have USAA car buying service and I would just like to get some feedback from you guys. I already checked the 'How much did you pay' thread, but it's difficult to find exactly EcoBoost Convertible. I will be trading in my vehicle which is around 13k conservatively and putting down 13k which means I will be taxed the difference after trade in? So about 21k which is around $1,800 in taxes not including other bs dealer fees correct?

I ordered my Ecoboost 'vert using D Plan. Here's some info to compare against:

DIB Ecoboost convertible
Auto
Reverse sensors
50th anniversary package

Price on configurator $38,710
Dealer invoice $36,424.99
Plan price $34,965.17 before incentives

So.... After 2.5 hours at the dealership... The internet/phone sales lady lied and turns out, they do not have a 2015 Black Ecoboost Convertible coming in on the 8th, but they do have one coming in by the last week of April, BUT it has the Performance Package and Redline Interior Package.

I test drove a yellow ecoboost with PP they had on the lot, and it wasn't bad except for the slight delay until the turbo spools. After much negotiation, they offered me the PP option for only $800 more than my USAA TrueCar price totaling $34,463 and nothing extra for the Redline Interior Package ($395). I should have been more excited, but I wasn't, because I really didn't want the summer tires especially living in the snow belt. I would eventually have to spend nearly 1k on decent all seasons. My salesman is going to try to get the parts department to trade me a set of all seasons instead.

In the mean time until the vehicle arrives, they're also going to try to track down a regular Black Ecoboost Convertible without PP. I saw the invoice sheet and it's a little less than D plan. I know I should be pretty grateful for such a deal, but I really, REALLY don't want to deal with summer tires, especially on 19" rims. That's an average of $300 more for a set of 19" all seasons compared to 18's

Here's the Yellow Ecoboost with PP I test drove. Maybe I should just keep things the way they are since I already plan on blacking out my wheels if I were to get the non PP. Do you guys think I should keep the PP deal?

Why aren't you shopping multiple dealers? There are dozens in the area. Don't BS around with this one. Go in and Shop Your Price..

33k or 34k for a 2015 is to much if you try and trade in the same car the dealer is only going to give you 22k at best.

FYI, 2 months ago I bought a new 52.3K 2019 Mustang GT Convertible loaded up for $39,200 plus tax, $100 doc fee and title (Minnesota). 25% off.
USAA, True Car, Sams Club auto buying services are all for people who don't want to get out there and research and get dirty.

Buy a new one, demand 12% off plus any rebates.
