I think that makes perfect sense.I’m not sure I 100% follow what you mean. I was only pointing out that some of the arguments for the GT PP2 gave similar performance for less money, and while that may be true, the resale/residual value of the GTPP2 in theory would be far less than a GT350 based on previous SVT molders of any year. Whether or not it’s a culture thing or justification, I’m not sure about all that. So yes, you might be able to “buy” 80% of GT350 performance for 70% of the price, 3 years from now you might get 45% of your money back on a GTPP2, and 60% back on GT350.....if that makes sense with my made up percentages :cheers:
Bottom line is - we buy the car that excites us the most. If we only considered the monetary to performance value, we’d all be in ecoboosts or GTs because, IMO - the GT has always been a hard car to beat, for the money.
