Good evening gents...
Need some advice. A few weeks back I noticed some oil stains on my driveway. My 2015 GT PP has never leaked before. It has 70K miles on it and I baby it.
I changed the oil last weekend and was able to see that the oil was coming from that peephole between the transmission and motor.
The oil does not appear to be motor oil. It looks like brake fluid. I am not a gear head, but friends have suggested that my throw-out baring might be on its way out.
I want the leak repaired and since the work needs to be done regardless, I thought it might be a good idea to also go ahead and change out the clutch. Any suggestions on what would be a good aftermarket clutch to install? I was thinking of going with a McLeod Super Street Pro Kit.
Any suggestions and advice is appreciated. Thank you for your time.
