I have their camber plates. 200% better than Steedas which were clunking on bumps/road changes. As the subject title reads - anyone using MM suspension components?
thanks for that. My EB started doing precisely that after 2 weeks of silence. Now I know. My other Steeda set on the GT hasn't made so much as a clink in over a year . Steeda fully-assembled the front shocks on both sets but clearly something is not repeatable in their process (@SteedaTech) or they've got a stacking tolerance problem. I'm guessing there needs to be a rubber donut/insert between the layers if nothing else.I torqued every bolt correctly, but it never stopped and was only on one side.
No problem and That’s exactly what I think it needs!thanks for that. My EB started doing precisely that after 2 weeks of silence. Now I know. I tightened my nut to no avail. So while the nut/plate/spherical sandwich might have been tight that doesn't mean the strut to spherical was tight or the spherical/race was tight. Jangling around with a box of heavy bolts every time either front wheel when over a sharp bump was exceedingly annoying. I may have to find a different supplier. The only thing that can really make a clunking noise with a camber plate is the strut nut being loose
Believe me, it was tight. If anything, it was over torqued lol and it STILL made clunking noises. Only on the passenger side for some reason. Never bothered to try and switch it to the other side, just replaced them with a diff brandThe only thing that can really make a clunking noise with a camber plate is the strut nut being loose, bad strut, or a spherical bearing that has play between the ball and the race. Precisely why we don't use off the shelf spherical bearings in any of our parts.
i used the same exact bearing, strut, spring, etc on the MM camber plates. Only thing that was changed wete The camber plates and the clunking went away. It was 100% the camber plate. There are also multiple other forum members with the same issue.Sounds like either a bad bearing or strut.
gotcha! I see, yeah definitely could’ve been thatWhen I'm talking about a bearing it's the spherical bearing in the camber plate itself not the thrust bearing on the spring seat.
I've looked on Maximum's website and the only parts I've seen for 2015 and up Mustangs were their camber plates, which I have a set and am going to use them sometime soon. That being said, and it's been awhile since I checked, but isn't the only part Maximum makes for the 2015 and up Mustangs camber plates?

Same here, had a white 93 notch with the porno red interior MM was my go-to. Full length weld in subframe connectors, torque arm cc plates and the parts were second to none. Should have kept that car.About 20 years ago I ran quite a few of their suspension parts on a 93 GT. Good quality stuff, I wouldn't hesitate to run anything they produce. That being said, and it's been awhile since I checked, but isn't the only part Maximum makes for the 2015 and up Mustangs camber plates?
