Is anyone else in northern climates just getting their S550 out of hibernation? How does it feel?

We just got another 10cm of snow with 70km/h winds in the Red River Valley here in Manitoba. And now a revised flood forecast for the worst, and another monster Colorado low forecasted next week. Hopefully it's just rain.

We get a couple warm days, get all ramped up and wham mother nature slaps us down again! Lol.

I don't even think about getting my car out before mid May. Some years we get lucky and I it out earlier. Calling for 10-15cm here next weekend in south/central Ontario.

We just finished getting about 4 more inches of snow I did not want to see which will hinder my ability to get my car out further. More snow and ice at the bottom of my driveway again and today it is just below 30 degrees. Damned mother nature!

Edit: just noticed the date on your intake is 2022.

Changed back to Michelin Sport 4Ss two weeks ago, and just did an overnight trip into upstate NY and Watkins Glen for a damp opening weekend. Some rain--and some hail! Yes, the public laps are restricted by a pace car, but it's such a wonderful track that I didn't mind too much. And it's always fascinating to see who shows up.

For example: The guy behind me, in the '16 DIB GT, only got his Mustang a month ago and has already put >10,000 miles and a cross-country trip under it. It's great to see.

I was posted in Westman for 9 years, never had any snowfall like you guys are getting now, hopefully you guys get a gradual melt to prevent flooding.

Damn; you poor folks in Man/Sask! I heard on the news about that Storm. Unlike anything seen in 30 years. Here in Ontario, the last couple of days' weather has been a mixed bag.

I drove mine through the winter on the stock PP rims + Nokian Hakapalita tires. I've got her on the new Steeda Rims with Nitto 555s right now. Not sure I'll drive her through another winter though. Sh may become a garage queen if I can pick up something to crash around in during the winter next year.

I am just north of Bancroft. Most of the snow is gone now. Still getting snow the odd time but not amounting to anything.
