Didn't know where else to ask this but looking to get either a 200g or 600g shift knob from shift solutions co, does a weighted shift knob basically simulate resting your hand on it?

Can’t imagine it does. I have a heavyweight Raceseng Slammer (575 grams) shift knob on my car and it feels smoother than stock or the fp carbon knob did.

A weighted shift knob won't hurt anything. I've had a 600g on mine for a couple years now and I'd never want to put a lighter knob back on. The shifts are so much smoother.
